Iconic Zorn's Of Bethpage Closed For Several Days During Move To New Location

Popular food takeout and catering business Zorn's of Bethpage is closed for the first time in its 80-plus year history.

The store will not be serving customers for several days Friday, May 3 through the weekend because it is relocating to a new, smaller building on the same property right next store at 4321 Hempstead Turnpike.

Construction is complete for the new Zorn’s of Bethpage store and will be open in time to fill Mother's Day orders, said the company's announcement.

Zorn's known for its rotisseries and southern fried chicken, turkey, ribs and more had over 100 comments about the news posted on its Facebook page

"When will you start shipping your amazing Zorn's sauce? I moved too far and I'm craving it like crazy!," said one of the comments among many well-wishers. "We will work on shipping," Zorn's of Bethpage answered.

Meanwhile, Zorn's said it will be ready in time for Mother's Day. Call 516-731-5500 to place orders.
